Delivery Information

Moby Memory uses a range of couriers and has a selection of delivery methods to choose from. We typically dispatch orders within 1-2 working days of order confirmation. Our cut off for same day shipping is usually 11am but we frequently ship until 4pm (please call if you are in an emergency).  

1) Free Delivery "Moby No Rush". You will receive delivery within 4-8 working days of the dispatch date. Typically about 83% of customers receive their order within 2-3 days, but it is advertised as 4-8 working days as we may decide to use a downstream access provider or prioritise other orders first, which would cause a delay. Carriers used: Royal Mail, Whistl, UKMail, DHL

2) £0.29 "Economy" - It is advertised you will recieve delivery within 3-5 working days of the dispatch date. Typically 92% of customers receive their order within 2-3 days, but it is advertised as 3-5 working days as we may decide to prioritise other orders first. Carriers used: Royal Mail, UKMail, DHL

3) £0.99 "Express" - it is advertised you will receive delivery within 1-4 working days of the dispatch date. Typically 83% receive their orders within 1-2 days, but it is advertised as 1-4 working days as sometimes there are delays in the courier networks, or we may be a day late dispatching the item. 

4) 1.99 "Tracked" -  it is advertised you will receive delivery within 1-4 working days of the dispatch date. Typically 94% receive their orders within 2-3 days, but it is advertised as 1-4 working days as sometimes there are delays, out of our control, witin the courier networks, or we may be a day late dispatching the item. Carriers used: UKMail, DHL

5) £6.99 "Next Day" -  it is advertised you will receive delivery within 1-4 working days of the dispatch date. Typically 92% receive their orders within 1 day, but it is advertised as 1-2 working days as sometimes there are delays in the courier networks, which are out of control. We would advise calling us or emailing us to gaurantee the dispatch date as we use multi location warehousing. Carriers used: UKMail, DHL

If the order value is £70 or higher = Free upgrade to tracked delivery

If order value is £200 or higher = Free next day delivery

If order contains 10 units or higher = Free upgrade to tracked delivery

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I want to change my address / my address is wrong

a) If your order has been shipped, then you have the option of re ordering with the correct address, or waiting until the item is returned to us so we can resend to your new address. If the address is incorrect and we have sent the item to the address, then you are liable. 

b) If your order has not shipped, then we can change it our end very easily, just make sure to tell us asap to avoid disappointment

Delivery

Delivery will be made to the address specified when you complete your order.

Should you want to change the shipping address after the goods have dispatched from us a charge of £4.99 may be required for repackaging (a redirection approval is subject to your order and account status).

Orders placed before the specified cut off time will be processed and delivered as per your request, providing further security checks are not required and all goods are available.

If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) security policies you will be informed as soon as possible.

If you refuse the delivery of your order for reasons under the Distance Selling regulations or you fail to take delivery because you have cancelled your contract under the Distance Selling Regulations, Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. By exercising you right to cancel you are required to return the goods to  Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory), in the same manner it arrived to the customer – this means if an item is sealed and this seal is broken we will not refund or re-credit. If you fail to return the goods Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) we reserve the right to deduct any costs incurred by retrieving the goods from you.

We make every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. However, Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. In this event, Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) will inform you of any delay as soon as possible. Please note that external factors such as a strike by the delivery courier or weather may also affect the delivery of your goods and we are not liable for this.

For items valued over £50 Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) reserve the right to ship goods to the billing address this is for security reasons

Upon receipt of your order you may be asked to sign for the goods received. If the package does not appear to be in good condition then please refuse the delivery. If you are unable to check the contents of your delivery then please sign for the parcel as “UNCHECKED”. Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter. It is the responsibility of the customer to have somebody able to sign for an item if this is required, if an item is sent back to us there may be an additional fee to post the item or a refund minus cost of postage can be issued.

Ownership of an item will not pass to you until we have delivered the item to you (either directly, or by leaving it in a safe place or with a neighbour). When an item is delivered the risk of damage to or loss of the item passes to you. If a delivery note has been left at the address requested for delivery it becomes the customer’s responsibility to collect the item and the item is then in ownership of the customer.

If an item is not delivered it is the responsibility of the customer to inform Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory). Royal Mail 1st Class deliveries can take up to 15 days (this can be verified by Royal Mail) and this is not something that Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) can change and Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) cannot take action until 15 days have passed. A refund cannot be issued until a Non-Delivery Form is completed by the customer AND Royal Mail verifies it. There is no time frame to how long Royal Mail takes to complete this process.

 Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) reserve the right to upgrade postage at no extra charge to you the customer without prior warning.

 Newbay Trading Limited (Moby Memory) will not be held responsible for delivery times after goods have been handed over to royal mail or any other mail provider.
